Your journey starts with a friendly greeting at Jaisalmer Airport, then a picturesque five-hour drive in a cosy, air-conditioned car to Jodhpur. Arriving, tour the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, where you will see majestic palaces such as the Moti Mahal and Sheesh Mahal and take in panoramic views of the blue city.

Then meander around the tranquil grounds of Jaswant Thada, a stunning marble cenotaph. Lunch at a nearby restaurant (optional) should be real Rajasthani cuisine. Before touring the architectural wonder of Umaid Bhawan Palace, home of a museum displaying royal relics and vintage vehicles.
